Flexible Design
The Robopak System has been designed to
provide for most packaging situations.
It is available in two basic configurations,
single station or dual station. The single station
packs one box at a time and will keep pace with
most single or dual station extrusion blow
molders, injection blow molders or smaller
P.E.T. lines. The dual station system is capable
of handling higher capacities, such as long
stroke extrusion machines, wheel machines,
multi-cavity reciprocating screw machines and
medium output P.E.T. lines.
Wide Product Range
Robopak can accommodate a wide range of
container shapes and sizes. Containers from
just a few ounces up to one gallon are typical
sizes that can easily be run. Special features
such as the container turning mechanism
provide a variety of packaging patterns and
configurations. Neck up, neck down, or a
combination of both can be easily achieved.
Boxes can be as large as 30” square by 30”
high and are fed in and out of the system on a
specially designed roller conveyor.
Efficient Change-Over
Changing from one container size to another
has been given special consideration, made
easier by the use of such features as the
vacuum in-feed conveyor that indexes containers
into position, eliminating the need for guide
rails inside the machine. Quick change-over
tooling and job data recall are the two important
features that provide the most efficient
change-over possible for this type of equipment.
Reliability
Robopak is manufactured using the most up to
date and reliable components available.
The servo system and drive components are
used by the most discriminating and highly
respected machinery manufacturers in the
world. You can be confident that your Robopak
System will perform reliably in the twenty-four
hour, seven day a week environment that is
typical of the blow molding industry.

Touch Screen Set-Up
Machine operation and set-up is performed via
the touch screen. The control system is menu
driven and has been designed to lead the
operator through step-by-step menus, enabling
machine operation by personnel with limited
technical experience. Set-up is made simple
and easy by the creative use of set-up screens.
By inputting the container height and width,
the number of rows and number of layers,
the smart control can calculate the rest.
This set-up data can then be stored into memory
and recalled the next time you run the job.
Portability
Proco is intimately aware of the manufacturing
needs of blow molders, therefore all Proco
equipment is designed to be portable. Robopak
is fitted with heavy duty casters and can be
moved easily from one location to another as
schedules or other production demands may
dictate. This feature will provide you with the
most flexibility and ensure that you will receive
maximum return on your capital investment in
the shortest period of time.
Vacuum Bag Control
If you use typical polyethylene bags to line the
inside of your boxes, Robopak can be supplied
with a special optional feature that utilizes a
vacuum to draw out the air from in between the
bag and the box. This ensures the bag will not
interfere with the end of arm tooling during the
packaging process.
