Message from John McCormick – PRESIDENT
From its humble beginning in 1982 with just 3 people, PROCO has grown and expanded in to a
new modern plant in Mississauga, Ontario with 27,000 Sq.ft of plant area and 5,000 sq ft office
area. Proco Machinery Inc was incorporated to build special equipment for the Plastic Industry.
We launched our first Proco Unloader for Shuttle blow molding in the year 1982 and
progressed from there to our current size. Over the last 25 years Proco has grown from
strength to strength and we have added a wide range of products and emphasis has always been
on Innovation. We have mastered the art of Take-out systems for Shuttle Blow
molding machines and have the most advance patented system in the Industry. The first Proco
Robopik Takeout system was launched in the year 1995. It proved to be so successful within the
industry, we have sold more then 180 Robopik systems till now.
Proco had a vision to provide complete end-of-the-line solution for Blow molding Industry 15
years back. We started working in that direction and developed our first Proco Robopak Case-
Packers in the year 2000 to layer pack empty bottles inside the box and to tumble pack. We
progressed very well with the Case-Packer and we now pack bottles in three configuration; 1) All
Necks up, 2) All Necks-Down or 3) Alternative Rows of Necks-up and Necks Down. Proco Case-
Packers come in two versions – Single Station or Dual Station depending on the Line Speed
requirement.
The other interesting product addition to Proco family was Proco Multipak Packaging System:
The advantage of the Multipak system is that it is extremely versatile. Multipak is the only
packaging system available that can be configured as a Palletizer, a Tray Packer, a Box Packer
or a Gay Lord Packer depending on the customer’s packaging requirements. The industries
response to the Multipak since its initial introduction during NPE 2006 has been overwhelming. It
is the most advanced technological innovation Proco has made in recent years and took several
years of development by our engineering staff.
Proco Machinery manufactures a complete line of Robotic Take-out systems, Deflashers, Leak Testers
(upto Six Heads), Flame Treaters, Dome Spin Trimmers, Robotic Packaging Systems (Case Packers) and as well as the
Multipak Packaging System.
